U2 are the best live band i have ever seen. i saw them for the first time on sat night at telstradome, and it had everything. dvd's don't do this band justice as a live act, to see and hesr them in the flesh was unforgettable, atmosphere was electric. i was so inspired, to the point i got onto more tix for sundays show, i just don't know how i'll get through tonight without seeing the opening number, 'city of blinding lights', i'm just gonna miss it. vocal wise, bono was on top of his game, although never having seen them before, his voice in certain areas of live dvd's sounded tired, but this was faultless. i had shivers when he took the pavarotti part of 'miss sariavo' (sorry 'bout spelling) to the heavens, his dad would have been proud, speaking of which, 'sometimes...' gave me tears, thanks bono. rest of the band were just so cool up there, made it look like a jam session at one of their lounge rooms, special mention to adam clayton, i'm tipping this guy has never stressed about anything, ever. he was just enjoying it so much, always had a little smile for the fans. i just wanted to post something, because u2 inspired and changed me this past weekend, and it couldn't have happened at a better time in my life. thanks.
