WOW..... what a night to remember. I've been a fan of U2 for MANY years. I saw them in Adelaide for their Zooropa Tour, was on the grass up close but just not close enough.. I'm not a tall person so the struggle to see and breathe probably inhibited my enjoyment... I'll never forget it though. BUT this time round the only tickets we could get were right up in the new balcony section, nearly all the way up the top. Yeah it was a bit breezy, I was cold UNTIL ......U2 FINALLY entered on stage. Their opening song, "City of Blinding Lights", really got us all fired up... it was electrifying... soon forgot about the chill in the air. Even though I longed for a pair of binoculars (which I don't have YET) in the end it really was about the music, and my ears had a SPECTACULAR feast. The light effects just added to the visual enjoyment. It was great to look down on the stage and all the fans bopping away to one of the worlds most BRILLIANT bands. My husband & I now have one of the best memories & we'll be sharing this with the generations to come.

Thanks for coming to Adelaide guys... and don't listen to those that say we're a lacklustre crowd.... we are all just truely in Awe. We listen to your music and we listen to your message. Nothing you ever say falls on deaf ears..... not mine anyway :)
