2006-11-17 - From LoveTown To Vertigo! submitted by Simone CrossleyWhat a treat last night was even when the cold set in the pure electric vibes kept that crowd steaming!, last time I saw U2 was in 1989 at Memorial Drive I actually won tickets to the concert through Guinness & I have not been as thrilled as I was to get "That" phone call I am as much in Awe of U2 as the day I went to the LoveTown concert.The lighting was nothing short of a visual feast -Bono's sublime vocals are always 'music to my ears'U2 were in finest form last night, they just get better & better.
My only wish is even in the Ellipse area I just couldn't get close enough I have MS I stood for 6 hours straight to get a close glimpse of Bono but maybe next time !, thank goodness for the big screens. So Come on back to Adelaide! & don't wait to long!!
I will NEVER forget the U2 experience & will keep on living it with love & peace in my heart.
