Having attended last night's Vertigo concert I can happily report that the band has lost nothing in the 13 years since it last played in Adelaide. That 1993 show still sticks in my mind as one of colour and dazzling imagery, to say nothing of the powerful music and performance of the band.

U2 at that time were masters of the concept tour and it was an amazing experience to have been part of that. My friends and I initially found ourselves just out of the inner ring, but after Big Audio Dynamite played (the other support act being Jenny Morris) the gate was opened and more people were let in, including me and my friends. So I had a position quite close to the walkway and managed to get some resonable photos, including Bono dancing with Karen, who though not a friend, was a fellow student of mine at college.

It was a balmy night with just a light sprinkling of rain. To have the setlist from the show is great!
