Review

2006-11-14 - Activist, travelling salesman.....part time rock-star,opera singer... submitted by Shelby

...in the loudest folk group in the world. How's that?' Oh my, what can I say. A fan of the lads since I was a small girl, I live, eat and breathe their music. I have seen them several times live, but I am still spinning from my experience having been to both the Friday and Monday shows in Sydney.
Emotions were severely overcoming through certain renditions and I will never be the same again. No wonder they are the greatest rock band in the world. Absolute masters of their instruments, despite their claims at humbling beginnings ( ie. Adam not being able to play the bass??? After these shows, I am convinced it is an extension of his body and he was born with it!!)
I was blessed to have a fabulous spot ringside on the right of the stage in the elipse......how did I get so lucky??? Both nights!!! I just know that I love them even more than ever. I awoke saturday morning in a dream of Bono singing in Italian just to me!????
Thank you lads for being yourselves, proving you are both human and humanitarian, and for sharing yourselves with us small people.
This better not be the last, for I will have to lay down and die if they are never coming back to Australia. Love, Love, Love you guys.
PS: Robbie rocks, you help keep Bono sounding smashing all the time; Rain, or shine!!
Best, Best live shows ever.
