Hi! Just to add to my original review, we spotted Fabian Barthez muslce his way through the crowds!
I last saw U2 at Wembley for Popmart and I said at the time nothing could beat that, but elevation comes very close. For a huge stadium concert, popmart was amazing, and elevation is the equivalent on the smaller arena scale. the crowd were excellent and bono didnt need to sing the tricky parts as we did them for him. The stage was fantastic and cleverly arranged. It tricked me as they appeared to just walk on stage without lights or power! Then the chorus of elevation changed this and i realised the power cut style was part of the act.
As i mentioned, the fly was stunning, and that new intro is gorgeous (dont worry ... ive already learned how to play it!) and the regulars (streets etc ) were uplifting as usual. Forget Boston, they should have filmed this one. They were generous with the encore!! How you can leave One off the boston video is a crime!! One is essential and must be included on all future U2 videos please. Or contact me and ill play it for you!! cheers!
