Have seen U2 probably a dozen times and this is without a doubt the worst. The sound was an absolute shocker, and while stadium gigs always suffer in this regard, I have personally not experienced the dull thud from the Irish collective before. The same acoustic affect could have been achieved by playing the Vertigo DVD in your living room with the bass full up, running a bath, and then listening to the TV while submerged.

Not sure if Telstra stadium has particular problems in this regard but couldn't help wondering if a few less lights, and some more time spent trying to set up a decent PA system might be a better investment. I for one was there to here U2 live - I've seen lights before.
