2006-11-07 - Dissappointing organisation submitted by Angela FennUnfortuntely organizers didn't think very hard about getting the 10,000 standing fans into the "mosh pit" . There were 15 entrance for the seated crowd of +47,000 and only 1 entrance for the standing fans. Because of this fans had to que in lines for over 1 & 1/2 hours to enter the concert. I believe the energy of the "mosh pit" sets the mood of the concert...and we were pretty pissed off by the time U2 came on. We arrived at the venue at 6,but by the time we got in,missed Karnye West and then U2's performance didn't start until after 8.30 we weren't very happy. U2's performance was fantastic...but they had to work VERY hard to get reaction from the crowd. The Energy of the concert was low compared to other U2 concerts I have seen. back
