My girlfriend and I were 3rd row in on the floor, right at the tip of the heart. Let me assure you all that to truely experience U2, you needed to be on the floor feeling each vibration of Adam's bass, and watching Bono gallop all over the stage. At one point, the irishman himself was within an arms length. Although not everyone could have been as close as we were, it was an experience worth driving 516 round trip miles from Bloomington, IN( ya hoosiers!)
This was my third time seeing the show, her second. I will have to say that the energy 80 some shows later, was still as effortless and ever present as ever. I thought by this point in the tour, the band would be keeling over, but I was wrong. The setlist was great and Garbage was a great opening act. Too bad No Doubt didnt come to any non-west dates, but they sufficed.
Over all, I will have to say U2 has left its mark permanently on the US in terms of its music, and how they stage something bigger than a concert, more like a spectacle.
