just over 5 years have passed since this memorable gig.i usually have to travel to dublin or elsewhere to see a u2 gig,but 40 mins in a rowdy coach is no price at all to pay.we had a good idea of what to expect visually,but it still knocked us aback once the huge screen was put on for pop musik/mofo as the band came out.the set was largely new material,as tours go you play what you have just written. plenty of old favs too,bad was omitted from this tour sadly.the lemon bit amused the unaware.an inventive way to restart the show.it stayed dry mercifully and we enjoyed the night out.work next day was a blur. pete armagh
