5 years on and this incredible performance still amazes me.dont ask me how bono was able to lift himself to do the gig having laid his father to rest the previous day.a hot day with excellent support from coldplay and the chillis-we got in too late to see the opening acts.elevation shook the ground beneath my feet,apologies salman.beautiful day summed it up with bad,streets and bullet outstandingly played.one was emotional,dedicated to bob hewson with walk on ending an awesome set.tired,hoarse,leg weary but elated,we trudged up the slopes and out into the darkness of the tiny remote co meath village and to our coach and home.a great day. life exists for such events-with 9/11 around the corner,this irish band speaks for all that is good and necessary in a troubled world. pete armagh
