4 years on from zoo tv and u2 have gone and got themselves a lemon and a gigantic video wall.belfast wasnt even on the schedule,but it sold out in no time.the overhead sky didnt look promising,but it stayed dry.edge,s guitar on mofo cascaded across the city and when that huge screen was in full flow you couldnt help but stand there agog.closeups of the band and prerecorded stuff for each song.it looked great.the lemon opened out and down came the band onto the mini stage for discotheque.a varied set with a lot of new material was played.40000 went home happy,if slightly spotty eyed.went down to dublin to see it again that saturday.stood with 2 girls from boston.small world. pete armagh
