Review
2006-03-05 - PLEASE COME SOON!! submitted by gtamax@hotmail.comI have no words to tell what this meant to me. I almost love some U2 lyrics since I started listening to music and my fanatism started when with my very best friend Pablo shared hours of playing their songs.
You are part of our life.
Is hard to get the lyrics get compromise with the highness of the very best of our human souls and just do it as if it where easy. Is impossible not to be touch deeply by any of your songs. Also you show friendship between you as a band and you were guest of honor for any Argentinean. You are respectful to people everywhere you go, not those "kiss my ass" bands that see us like better educated indians.
I never went to any concert of U2 till this one, because of distance and money. We were waiting for you all these years and as many fans here in Argentina, we did the impossible to have the money for the ticket. Pablo had better luck and was lucky to find tickets for both days. I just get one ticket for 2/3/2006.
Seeing the stage as I entered the stadium was really a shock, I still canīt believe I listened to Paul, David, Larry and Adam live after playing almost 2 cds every day of my life the last 15 years since I was 11yr. old. I just lost my voice completely singing as loud as I could all the songs and my body ended in pain. I just have no words to tell you my gratitude for such a good time in my life. No matter is the sound was the best possible... the worst.. the size of the stage or the amount of screens there are. Lyrics, their meaning and four friends who are incredible musicians and better people; will make any presentation of U2 unique for their fans.
The only complain I have, which isnt really a complain since I know they have a life and time is always lacking, is that 8 years had to pass to get my chance of seeing you live. Please come more often to Argentina! If moving huge stages is a problem, forget about them.. that only matters for the press reviews, not for fans. And if giving a concert isnt possible, just come here to visit as. I would be honored as I was these days, to have good people as you are in my home. Doors will be always open.
Sorry for writting that much and any language mistake, but may be this the only way U2 can read what an Argentinean fan has to say.
Thanx!
.. And I have to specially thanx you Bono because tonight I kissed a girl that is a special one for me, for the fist time, listening to Original of Species. Those are moments to treasure. ;) back
