Review

2006-02-18 - the most awesome concert monterrey ever had submitted by Jose de Jesus Flores Martinez

I had the chance to be part of the u2 experience in monterrey on u2 vertigo tour, where the most succesfull band of the moment shock monterrey, giving themselves 100% band and audience overcoming any single expectation of each of the 50,000 people gathering only to enjoy and be fully pleased by the irish band, with comments in spanish by BONO talking about the beautifull night it was, singing mexican theme "cielito lindo" where the crowd chanting right back the whole theme the first time the band went off the stage, returning three times after saying goodbye.
Bono and invited a couple of girls to sing them personally, where these girls melted in his arms.
An impresive farewell line of bono apologizing of not visiting mexico in 8 years let us the sensation of a bono brother of mexican people, we heard 25 amazing tunes where the band doesnt just acomplished the contract, they played as a farewell tour. thats what we felt.

We will never be gratefull enough with the band to consider this country (mexico)in this tour so the 116,000 copies of the new album selled so far in this country its not representing what the people feel about each member of the band

So in the name of a nation of 100 million people i say to the band that they are an example to follow for every single human being on earth

(sorry about my bad english)
sincerely
Jesus
