Review

2005-12-21 - Acoustics, Hmmm submitted by Todd Nanfito

I've been a U2 fan for 25 years. I started with Boy, and have been listening all these years. So, after 25 years of resisting, I decide that it's a good idea to see them, finally!
Well, I know the performance was great, U2 is the last of the Super Groups. But I have to say, the show didn't sound right. It was very hard to discern the more subtle sound of The Edge, especially. Even Bono was not always clear (Impossible!).
This was my first show at Qwest, so who is to blame? I have heard grumblings from others, and 25 Years of listening makes ms an authority on U2's sound, always good no matter what.
