I've seen U2 on four occassions, my first being a very special one of them. but i must concede that the show they put on in LV on 11/18/01 was the best i've seen.

after having recently seen them on this same circuit in Los Angeles, i was expecting the same 'routine', but the boys startled me with an earnestness, improvisation, and depth worthy of the title 'elevation'. bono mentioned that their song 'i will follow' was about a band trying to win back it's audience. for me and the 30+ thousand who saw them perform this evening, i U2 succeeded.

now if only i could have been the one chosen to come onto stage and play Edge's guitar alongside the virtuoso and the frontman himself! :)
