The Cleveland show was spectacular. I didn't have great seats, but it didn't matter. The electricity pumping through the crowd was absolutely amazing. The crowd was there, U2 was there, and everyone was ready to party. "Wake Up" started playing and everyone started going nuts. When "City" kicked in fully, the crowd cheered so loud that you almost couldn't hear anything else. The only miscue of the night was some apparent miscommunication between Edge and Larry on what tempo "Gloria" should be. It was taken care of during the bass solo. Other than that, absolutely everything went as it should have, nearly flawlessly. One of the greatest moments of the evening came during the first encore and "Until the End of the World" when Bono started chasing Edge around the ellipse until Edge did a flying leap onto one of his amps...while still playing the song. "Instant Karma" at the end was great and very well done. I wasn't too sure when I first saw that they'd been playing it on tour, but having heard it, they nailed it. It was a great show and probably won't be topped in my mind.
