After 20 years, I finally got to see my favorite band and they did not disappoint. I sat in what were arguably the worst seats in the house, behind the stage near the top row and was still blown away. The boys did a fine job of really personalizing the performance to the city (as I expect they always do). When soliciting for donations Bono prefaced his presentation with an acknowledgement of the current struggles facing many in the Western NY area. The memories of 25 years after Lennon were unknown to me, touching and poignant. My only complaint was not hearing "Bad", but overall a very balanced set list and a stellar energy level both from the band and the lighting. For those waiting to see them, it is absolutely worth it and I can only imagine if you're on the floor what to prepare for.
