2005-12-11 - Instant Karma submitted by timThe U2 show in Hartford was my third and final show of the tour. It was also the best out of the three that I had seen. The other two I went to were in Boston. The band sounded great and they seemed to be having so much fun on stage. The feeling behind each and every sound just carried through the arena.
I have to STRONGLY disagree with a review that someone wrote earlier. One of my favorite parts of the show was seeing Bono sing a few Beatles lines. And hearing the band jam along to Instant Karma was something I will never forget. I agree they could have played more songs from their earlier albums, but it was a special and emotional moment for them and many Lennon fans. Plus, the crowd was very into it and having the whole place sing along sent chills down my spine. I loved the show and think that anyone that was there saw a performance that would be hard to duplicate. back
