My wife and I travelled all the way from Malta (an island south of Italy, with 10 hours flight) to see U2 after having to miss a booked performance in Barcelona for family reasons.

We paid $500 for both of our tickets and love U2. Their opening performance was great despite the shrieks of Patti who sang to a nearly empty auditorium. Their encore with Stuck in a Moment was emotional, however the closing of the concert could have been much better had they responded to the fans cries before an almost anticlimatic finish. What was the rush? Why bring Patti back on for the grand finale? What's the story behind her being chosen as a backing band? What a difference from Keane at Barcelona!! Having Patti to support U2 was pure bad taste, like seing Britney (no offence intended) at a Metallica concert.

Still, they were worth the trip and the money despite the dissapointments.
