Take Springsteen for example, who has been an example cited many times by U2. He playes a great variety of songs and plays for 3 hours. I’m not even asking for that, and most people aren’t. This tour is a “Passengers” moment in my opinion. I use that analogy to give some perspective on how long I have loved this band. After seeing this show, I really felt like they lost it. I really hope I’m wrong but this had a cheesy “Kiss” vibe to it. Also, there is zero need to justify being relevant. Their music from 1980-2001 is timeless. However, I feel u2 has completely jumped the shark with this latest “play”
