Review

2005-11-26 - Great Until the End submitted by Ted

Had GA in the Orb., 1st time ever that close. What an amazing difference. I felt like I was at a club, not an arena. Michael Stipe was standing 3 feet away from me watching Patti Smith in the Orb. Not too many people noticed him. Also, during U2's encore, Patti & Bono tried to get Stipe to come out during "Instant Karma", no luck. However, I thought they would finish up "Instant Karma", & go into "40", or "Bad", didn't happen. Monday night's show was clearly the better show judging from the setlist, & more songs too. Still a great show, but left with a confused, sour taste in my mouth. Last show of the tour in New York, come on guys! They could of sung a couple of more songs, even with the union rules. Now I have to wait another 5 years to see them again. I hope I don't have to sell my house, car, or my child to see them on their next tour.
