Review
2005-11-25 - First Time Seeing U2 and Definitely Wasn't Disappointed submitted by JamieI saw U2, my favorite band, for the first time on November 19th and it far exceeded my expectations. I sat on the rear stage in the upper level, but I got a pretty good view (I thought so). The images and set arrangement was beautiful. I loved the way the concert started out with City of Blinding Lights -- the opening riff and imagery was simply amazing. I loved that they played "Pride," a song on some occasions I call my favorite. I loved the whole cell phone deal. I loved how a girl sitting behind me gave me a glow stick -- that was pretty cool. I really loved how the concert ended with the "you got the power" (or something to that extent) chant. I stood up for mostly the entire concert. I appreciated songs that I didn't really appreciate that much until I heard them live and understood the meaning behind them like "Miss Sarajevo" and "Bad." back
