Review

2005-11-23 - Where is the fire? submitted by Pudgie

Where was the fire, where were u2 going to in such a hurry that they pushed up the start time and turned on the house lights with a NY crowd roaring for their return? Is the love affair over with NY? Will I see a better show in Boston? The show was good, they put in a spirited performance. Arguably on of the best performances of the tour. They crowd was great and the band fed off of it nicely. But Patti Smith, whatever she used to be, isn't it anymore. Her set was aweful, and she killed a great song in Instant Karma! But for the boys not to return, where was Yahweh and All Because Of You? How about 40 or Bad or Vertigo (again)- something was up. I would just like to know what. Great show, but for a hundred odd dollars, they need to come back and finish with a U2 song.
