Review

2017-09-19 - very disappointed submitted by Regular concert goer

I knew being in section 520 would be hard to see, but I also knew the would be big screens, so I didn't mind. U2 comes out, big screen is blank, and stays blank, for several songs, then just an outline of the joshua tree. ??? They didn't use the screens until into the 3rd or 4th song, and it wasn't the band, just some documentary film footage. BORING. I can watch videos at home. They didn't put the band on the big screens except for like two songs. And then it was over-stylized, trying to make it look like MTV or something.
The worst part was the sound quality. Lucas Oil Stadium and the sound engineers for this show don't understand that LOUD ISN"T NECESSARILY GOOD. I have been to many rock concerts in many venues, but this was by far the worst concert experience that I have ever had. I think because we were up in the corner that we had music from both sides blaring in our ears. It was horrible. It was so loud at times it was painful. (My ears were still ringing a week after the show.) We left before the end of the last joshua tree song.
