Review

2005-11-22 - Highs and Lows submitted by Greenespace

I've been to four U2 shows over the last 18 years or so, and while this concert definitely had its moments, I felt (as a previous reviewer did too) that they seemed a litle tired of this tour. What few seemed to notice was Bono rushing through lyrics so fast that the band often had a hard time keeping up. Also, I heard several quickie endings of songs that in the past have had explosive finalies. High points included a great version of "Where The Streets Have No Name", and a few others. They also pounded out great versions of "Yahweh" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday" as well.

Overall, I'm still waiting (probably to no avail) for a concert with as much heart and soul as I saw in Atlanta at the Omni during the "Joshua Tree" tour. If anyone saw that show, and saw this last one, they would definitely know what I'm talking about.
