Review
2005-11-22 - Super show, after 13 years I got to see them again. submitted by TCarterAfter not seeing U2 since the ZooTv tour in Birmingham in 1992, I was happy to be at this concert. It was great to have my wife there too, for her first U2 concert. I have been a fan since 1986, and have sometimes questioned the route that U2 has taken on their last few albums. This concert basically laid all that to rest for me. I listen to the songs I like and take some of the 'filler' stuff with a grain of salt. This was a great performance by an aging band that still knows how to impress a crowd. I felt like I was in an Irish pub for 2 hours with all the audience participation. The energy is unlike any I've ever experienced at another live act! Sure, Bono's political views are different than mine. So what? I just choose to focus on the raw talent that comes from this band and tune out the political stuff. The talent these guys project as a band really is more than the collective talent of the four of them. I hope I am able to see them again. back
