I have always told my friends that they must see a u2 show before they or the band pass on to the next life. I describe the experience as participating in a rock n roll spiritual revival.......without the guilt...hehe... This show was no exception!!!...Ironically there was some brash right wing zealouts outside the show letting me and others know that the act of attending a u2 show is a severe sin, punishable by eternal death and damnation. Found that to be a bit ironic.........guessed they were late for the motley crue show that was at the arena a few weeks previously. So i offered the preacher a ciggarette, much to his shagrin and proceeded on gleefully in sin and made my way into the arena to rock out with the boys from the north side of Dublin. I'd have to deal with the death and damnation later. During the show I gave a shout out to the man upstairs for giving us the gift of rock n roll, in all its manifestations. Afterall it seems like the zealouts were wrong. the show seemed to help push me on a course they might not have expected. I'll have to tell them that the Lord might have special plans for us u2 fans. Sure they wont be happy to here something like that. IF they play ............we will pay and yea live to see another day...ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
