An inspired performance on this Texas detour. Long-time tour favorite Austin was not ignored on this 3rd leg, and for good reason. Audience and band glued to same page from the first note, moving and singing together as 17,000 bandmates and friends. The crowd sometimes drowning out the band in an emotional lovefest of dance, groove and melody. This total particpation eviroment inspiring each other to give and then give more, converting the new and affirming the old. U2 has crafted their best show yet with what could be arguably the strongest opening set of any band in the world. Stipped from the excess, the music now shines clearer and the performance is brought to forfront where it belongs. We found the lads in fine form and voice. And for that we are grateful.
