Review
2005-11-16 - For the First Time submitted by ReynaldoI came to miami for the weekend, I'm from Caracas, Venezuela. I bought the tickets on the u2.com presale, and was counting every day since. The concert was incredible, the energy the group has, and the simple but powerfull effects made this concert one of the greatest I have been to. Every song they played I was expecting it, many surprises, like "Who's gonna run your wild horses", which was an awesome song. Form the start with city of blinding lights, to end with 40 it was a memorable concert. Once song i was also not expecting, but receive it with joy was Mysterious Ways, of course the every song was incredible. The energy with every song, and the audience was great. Every piece of the concert I will remember forever, but great moments as Miss Sarajevo, with Bono's introduction, The edge playing the piano, and having the oportuniy of being so near, made it one of the best moments in the night, only topped by the one campaign, where all the arena became a galaxy, with the stars being the celular lights, and then, all the name of the signers where shown on the same proyectors where the concert was displayed.
In the end, all the planning came to a wonderful end, everything came out perfect, and the concert was every bit i had wanted, having the oportunity to listen to the old songs, the classics like sunday bloody sunday, where the streets have no name, one, with or without you, pride, until the end of the world, plus the not so old, and the new songs. Made it a great night, but what really made it unforgettable was hearing 40 live.
Thanks U2. Great Night!! back
