2005-11-08 - Why I Did not like the show submitted by John DI am going to explain why I was unhappy with Sat's show. I have been a collector of U2 live show for a long time. I have live recording going back to 1980. Sound board recordings. I have seen U2 in Dublin. I have been to shows all over the USA. As a fan I have high expectations for a U2 show. They were not met. The Edge was outstanding as were Adam and Larry. Bono was not Bono Sat. They were doctoring his voice so you could not hear it crack. He HIMSELF admitted that he was not himself and did not have his fasletto voice. It is like at kareoke where the sound person could make your voice not sound so bad by the flip of a switch. If you enjoyed the show I am happy for you. I did not. I have had the front row experience at many shows. I go to the show to hear that beutiful voice of his and he did not bring it with him. back
