A little late in submitting this review, but as I will be seeing the band again tonight in Dallas, it made me remember that absolutely unbelieveable show I saw from them in Lisbon. I have seen U2 on every tour since Unforgetable Fire, and this was by far one of the greatest shows I have seen, as good as, if not better, than any show I ever saw in Chicago. As others have noted, it was almost a spiritual event, as With or Without You just seemed to strike a nerve with the entire audience. The crowd was incredible; singing every lyric to every song, and carrying the ending of 40 out in the encore for 5 minutes. It was absolutely amazing to experience the band in Europe for the first time, and the Portugese made it a memorable and special event. They are some of the most vocal and passionate fans I have ever seen. While I will enjoy the show tonight in Dallas, I know it will not be anywhere near as good as Lisbon. The greatest band in the world was simply that this evening; great.
