2005-10-26 - Whoops. What happened with the cell phones submitted by JD

Tuesday night, Bono asked the audience to get out our cell phones. When I opened mine up there was text messaging happening on it -- almost like a chat room. Then, at the end of the show, there was a message on the large video screen above the stage that said "thanks for texting" and it showed names of many people (audience members?).

Can anyone explain what happened with the cell phones?
