2013-07-28 - eksit rotterdam submitted by cor neven

U2 played Eksit which was only half filled with 200-300 people but it did not matter, the band was great, playing enthousiastic and the sound was great. They played songs from the first lp and an encore with 2or3 songs which they had already done.
After the show i went backstage with some friends,I knocked on the dressroom door and Bono waved at us to get in.We got drinks and talked to the band:I asked Bono why the sound live was much different to the lp and he said ''it's a living room album''Also we talked about Irish bands Tin Lizzy(one of their members lived nearby he said)and Radiators from space. He also told me they were exited to go to Berlin and asked me if i had been there. Also talked to Adam(who was staring at his shoes)and asked him :do you have U2 buttons with you? on whih he replied:do you think people wanna have them?
When it was time to go I asked all member to sign the setlist which they did(sadly I traded this long ago, only got a copy and a outof focus photo backstage with me and and 2bandmembers).Alltogether a great night!
