Review

2005-10-23 - Bloody Hell, Mate! submitted by Ryan J. Atkinson

This was my first U2 show I have ever attended and it won't be the last! I had seats behind the stage, but that just seemed to add to the show. There was no way that it was hindered. In fact, it may have been better. They had a monitor back there with all four cameras in one. So, needless to say, it was the full throttle. And we were closer to the visual effects. The entire setlist was full of life and not one dull moment. Probably the height of the setlist was when they began to play their older material. This would include 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', 'Where the Streets Have No Name', and 'Pride (In the Name of Love)'. Bono was full of energy, as was the rest of the band. Probably the only bad thing about the show was that during the 2nd encore, some person farted real bad, and smelled like rotten eggs. But besides that, the show will be the best concert I will ever go to. Bono and boys, stay at the top of the world!
