First of all I have to confess that unlike the other reviewers, it was my first U2 concert ever and my seat was in section 116 which is behind the stage.
Still, I enjoyed the show immensely - can`t compare it to anything else I`ve seen before. The guys rock! Unlike many other rock bands, U2 sound live as well as on the CD (and Bono`s voice is actually good - he could pull the Pavarotti`s part in "Miss Sarajevo" without any seeming effort), the visual effects were great, and the band actually interacted with the auditorium very well. What a treat! I`m still singing and full of energy after the concert. Decided to get a ticket for one of their November shows at MSG whatever it costs me - I want the magic to last. Can`t wait to see them again!
P.S. Among the things Bono talked about, he also mentioned faith in science and believing in scientists who make our future better. Being a microbiologist myself I know scientists are not very often remembered in a good way. He couldn`t make me happier!
