Review
2005-10-13 - The Best Day of My Life submitted by ChristineThis was my first ever U2 concert and I thought it was great. I checked the setlist for 10-7 and 10-8 and saw that ZOO Station was no longer there, but i was so thrilled that it was back in for the 10-10 show!
In response to Michael's review, Bono had to stop singing during Pride In the Name of Love, right after "One man caught on a barbed wire fence", and I think the fact that he seemed to have lost his voice for a secod really helped the crowd connect with him more than usual.
Considering that this was my firat U2 show, and i had only ever seen them on a TV screen before, I found it so hard to believe that they were actually up there, on the stage right in front of me. WOW. I am still in complete shock that I actually saw a U2 concert. I was shaking so much, I could not believe it. I loved when they did Love and Peace or Else, Larry coming onto the ellipse, and Bono with the drums. Amazing.
i wish I had GA tickets. Instead, I was in the second row of section 83, which was closer to U2 than I ever could have imagined. I had a great view of them when they came onto the ellipse. I spent thge past few days reliving the concert, and I can't think about anything else. I really want to go to another U2 concert. It was the best day of my life.
I walked into the doors of Madison Square garden expcting the best show of my life, and it was even better than I could have imained, and that's saying a lot.
I love Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.
I love U2
and i always will. back
