This is the first time I saw U2 live and must say It left something to be desired. Bono is a great front man, but at 45 years old it seemed to me that his vocals were strained. I also did not like the sequence of songs. This particular song sequence had you on a roller coaster going from upbeat to low beat way too often. The show started off with a bang with a highly entertaining Bono getting freaky, as he gyrated around the Garden as if stuck in a wind storm to Vertigo, at one point even tangling with a shirtless male teenager which ended with Bono on his knees clutching the kids leg. Further, I would have like to have heard a few more of their older hits rather than some of the snippets they did such as old man river. Overall the show had moments which made you think, so this is what a rock band should be, but in my mind not enough of these moments to make me forget the fact that I had spent $200 a piece on tickets.
