it's 11am the morning after and i have no voice. it's shot from singing with the crowd for 2+ hours. once again, the band put on an awesome show. bono has such the ability to make you feel like your show is something special. he loves new york and on his second song - vertigo - said NEW YORK, THIS IS GONNA BE AN AWESOME NIGHT! or something to that effect, can't recall exactly. the special effects on the skyscraper video screen were fitting and creative - as it always is. the imagery at the beginning reminded me of the lights from a old lightbox with black paper i used to play with as a kid. the one you poked holes in to display the lights.

one note: the show in oakland on their last tour - all that you can't leave behind album - was a bit more heartfelt by the crowd - of course it was only a couple months after 9/11, which made it a very special concert for everyone.

definitely recommend seeing this tour. it is annoying how much you have to pay - but what can you do?
