Review

2005-10-08 - Surprise submitted by MKF

I must say while driving down from Maine listening to the CD's with the same thumping backbeat I was in an "ah.....well, we'll see" mode. The energy was pretty Sparase while Keane played however as the minutes ticked on the the rise in intensity and anticipation from the audience was contagious. I am a convert. This was the best rock n roll show I've seen (and I've seen all the "biggies") the difference? The precision of the lights, round stage, etc. all helped however it really was Bono's abiliity to sing directly to the very core of the audience's soul. A man who clearly walks his talk in reference to world affairs. Having the brilliant ability to get across love, peace, and no war in the paradigm of music............and the audience basically could've sang the whole show for him. They get the big picture and it emanates, vibrates, and gyrates from the stage up to the nosebleed section. A memory I shan't forget. Man, they have soooooooo got it going on. My personal favorite was Miss Sarajevo............lucious!
