2005-10-05 - 10/4 Boston Show - WOW submitted by Old TimerWhat a great show. Biggest surprise was the boys playing "Crumbs" for only the 2nd time on the whole Vertigo tour...one minor mis-cue in the middle of the tune that made me wonder if the boys were lip syncing some of the harmony? Anyone else notice this? Bono apologized after the song, so no harm.
The Edge continues to prove he's the real musical talent in this band...his abilities were showcased in Bullet the Blue Sky where his guitar wails were incredible. Bono as always, the master showman...he knows how to work the crowd.
The acoustic set in the encore was one of my highlights. Just wished they played one or two more oldies, like Out of Control or October...
Can't wait to see them again. back
