After their appearance two days ago in the UK at Glastonbury, U2 returned across the pond to resume business as normal - the 360° Tour in North America. Today, they performed in East Lansing. This is just the second time U2 have ever performed in East Lansing, and what a long way they have come; the first time was at a club on 7 December 1981. U2 themselves did not do a soundcheck today, but the crew ran through Zooropa, City Of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, Moment Of Surrender, Even Better Than The Real Thing, and The Fly.

The setlist was almost unchanged from the previous 360° Tour show in Baltimore. The one big change was the return of Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me in the encore after missing the last two 360° shows (and Glastonbury). Of the three songs in Glastonbury's setlist that have not been regular fixtures in the 360° Tour setlist (namely The Fly, Bad, and Out Of Control), only The Fly stuck around for tonight's show - its third performance of the entire tour.
