U2 Elevation Tour - U2, Keys to Perform at Grammys

U2 and Alicia Keys, nominated for eight and six awards, respectively, are the first confirmed performers for the forty-fourth Grammy Awards, which will air live on CBS from Los Angeles' Staples Center on February 27th.

Keys' 2001 debut, Songs in A Minor, earned her nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year (for "Fallin") and Best New Artist, among others. She will compete with U2 -- who also earned nods for Album of the Year among other awards -- in the Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories.

The Recording Academy also announced Tuesday that Britney Spears, Diana Krall and Janet Jackson will present at the ceremony. Jon Stewart will host the show, and more performers and presenters will be announced over the coming weeks.
