U2 Elevation Tour - U2 taping show for November airing

Jonathan Cohen - Billboard.com U2 is planning to tape a show from its Elevation world tour for future broadcast, guitarist the Edge said during a chat on the group's official Web site. The artist said the show will probably be broadcast around Thanksgiving.

The Edge was asked if U2 had any plans to compile rare tracks for public consumption. "We have so much stuff that should not and probably will never see the light of day, but in there, there are also some great things that have never been released," he offered. "At some point we'll start looking through what we've got and putting something together. But there's no appetite to do it, at the moment we're so into new songs and new records."
