from Chartattack In the "one of these things is not like the other" category, all those tuning in to game one of the NBA finals on June 6 in L.A. will get to watch a special half-time performance by …U2?!

The Irish rockers will entertain the (we suspect) mostly hip-hop-demo L.A. Lakers' fans with two songs from their current Elevation 2000 Tour live via satellite from the Fleet Center in Boston, home to the Celtics. These will be performed during the second of four sold-out shows in that city. One of the songs will be "Elevation," from U2's latest, All That You Can't Leave Behind. The performance is scheduled to take place between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. PST. We at ChartAttack just don't get it. Shaq will be playing that night. Isn't he available? Or how about Allen Iverson? The only possible explanation we could muster is that the geniuses who dreamed this idea up were trying to make a clever pun about basketball players "elevating" when they shoot hoops. Ha. The Lakers' opponent in this year's finals will be the Philadelphia76ers. Now, chances are, if you have a pressing need for this info, you probably don't even OWN a U2 album. But who are we to judge? — Amanda Factor
